Day 1 Welcome

Arrive at The Louise to a warm welcome. Make yourself at home, check in to your luxury suite and discover the lodge’s lounging areas, restaurants and outdoor facilities, all with a view to the Barossa’s rolling vineyards.

Day 1 Afternoon

Discover the historic Seppeltsfield estate just down the road from The Louise and walk among its century-old barrels of signature tawny port. Taste your own birth year straight from the barrel or try a 100-year-old tipple.

Seppeltsfield Road Distillers

Day 1 Evening

On the way back to The Louise, call in to the Seppeltsfield Road Distillers and opt for a flight of the small batch gins, including the signature gin that’s a standard in the lodge’s evening G&Ts and in Contour’s premium cocktails.

Ballooning

Day 2 Morning

Weather permitting, rise early and take a hot-air ballooning adventure over the Barossa Valley to see its patchwork of small farms and crisscrossed vineyards from on high. Watch the sun rise and enjoy views stretching to the ocean.

The Eatery

Day 2 Afternoon

Travel to Australia’s favourite cook Maggie Beer’s farm and restaurant, The Eatery and join Chef Tim Bourke in a cooking class in the purpose built kitchen. Use the Barossa’s fresh produce to create culinary delights and enjoy for lunch.

Enjoy sunset drinks in the lounge or gather outside to watch the valley in its golden hour, before a degustation dinner prepared by The Louise Chef Joel Grudnoff in Appellation, complete with matched wines from the Barossa and around the world.

This morning, let your senses run wild as you experiment to create your own signature perfume at Vasse Virgin. Discover the properties of scents and their individual appeal, and how they transform when they are combined.

For a final group event, venture to historic family winery for the Yalumba Unlocked experience. Enjoy a private tour of the grounds, cooperage and Signature Cellar before tasting Yalumba’s finest wines in the Wine Room and sharing the Cooper’s Platter of local artisanal produce.
